HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! It is crazy that it is already 2010!! For our New Years' Eve activity, we visited the Haven Home (a family home near by.)We had a blast! We made a huge bonfire and roasted marshmallows and hot dogs. We also set off fire crackers. I don't have any pics but I will try to get some.

Hello! I know I have been posting, like not at all, so I will attempt to give a fairly satisfactory post this time.
Bub has been talking up a storm. His latest funny was when Celeste came to visit. He stood up cordially when she walked in and began jumping on the bed while presenting her with the following effusion: "Hello! This is my mommy and this is my daddy and I'm the monkey who eats all the bananas."
Thus his education progresses.

Also, I am taking a poll. Should I dye my hair red or not? (not bright red, more like mom's) My present hair color is somewhere between brown and blond.
And i have one embarrassing story that happened this evening. I call it "the glamorous life of an Imaginary Rockstar"
I have a favorite pastime. I go where no one is around, turn up0 the volume on my mp4 and, using it as a microphone, I lip-sync to my favorite songs,while pretending that I am singing them in front of a screaming crowd of people, with band lights an such. Corny, I know, but a lot of fun.
So i went up to our flat roof and began rocking away to "Hair" by Ashly Tisdale. I paused the wrong way around in the middle of a spin. Abi, Andre, Sam, Nadia , and Martin were all staring at me like I was going bonkers.

Hi! Merry Christmas! do you like our new look.? Our singing team has a lot of shows this year. But when we are not doing shows, well, noelle and I are doing what twelve and thirteen year olds do: That right. We do dishes! On a happier not, my song, which I wrote and recorded last Christmas Has been published. Yay!

Hi!, first of all, I know Iv'e been pretty spastic with this blog. I'm sorry!
Second, I hae a story to tell. I was rollerblading at the park, when I decided to try and take the big hill. this thing is pretty steep and thre was a crowd on the bottom of it, nevertheless, I decided to try it.
A bout halfway down the hill, I realised that I couldent stop, or even slow down, so I began shouting cuidado (watch out) at the top of my lungs. unfortunately one little girl didn't hear meand I bowled ito her and went flying. the kid wasnt hurt, thank god, only scared, but i hurt myself. When i first went to the red cross, the doctor said that i broke my arm, and put a half cast on it. now we went back to see a specialist aand he said that i just sprained it, but i still need to wear this stupid cast untill tuesday.
in other news, we taught bub to say my precioussssssssss like gollum any now he wont stop saying it!

hi you all! this is shelly. sorry for the lack of posting, but we just came back from the states and we went trick or treating! it was so fun! i will post some pics of our costumes soon. we don't have any pics of us actually trick or treating because mom wasn't there to take pics but we had a blast.

Mom's dieting rules:
If you crumble pieces off of a whole, then all the calories run out. This rule applies to all crumby foods, including cakes, cookys etc. If you take a whole piece of it on your plate, then no calories will run out.
That rule, however, does not apply to ice cream. If you eat ice cream out of the serving dish, It can have up to three times the calorie content!
Also, If no one sees you eating it, then it is safe to eat. This is based on the infallible rule that if you cover you eyes, no one can see you, which is a scientific fact.
If you follow these rules, I will not guarantee that you will not become fat, but I can guarantee that you will always have an excuse.

hi you all!
I am sorry that I havent been posting but it has been very busy. Well, a few days ago, alex, paz and their kids came over. I don't have any pics about then cause our camera was not working, but we had a blast. Here is the story:

First they arrived at around 10 pm andd we gave them a tour and all that jaz. then Niki, Shannon,and Jazmine came to our room and we talked and hung out. we were going to watch a movie, but it was too late.then we talked and talked till around 1 am. shannon and I wanted to go to sleep earlier, but they wanted the light on and we wanted it off, so that didn't really work. the next morning we had creps for breakfast courtosy of niki and then we went swimming. we swam for a long time till we got bored of that and played volleyball. then we ate steak, beans and potatoes for lunch. we had such a blast!then we started to watch First Knight but alex and paz left before we finished.

He then ran around the house yelling "I am jesus at the top of his lungs. Then he amused himself by taking his diaper off and running back to the room While yelling "sister, you need to put my clothes on." (please note that I am never tory, only sister) With me in fruitless pursuit.

"bubbles" is getting to be very cute. he says the funniest things! H has a chair that he calls his chair. He never sitts on it, but he freaks out whenever someone sits on it, 'No! That's my chair! get off sister!" he will never call shelly and I anything but "sister". he absolutely refuses to call us by our real names. bub has also become an expert on "camels noseing" his way out of bedtime; "Sister, I so hungry, i need bannanna. i need to go potty. want water" such a naughty boy!

Yesterday there was an activity for all the family kids in this area ages 12-17. I am just within that age group, as are most of my friends. this activity was in Mexico City and we live about four hours away in Cournavaca. I am the only person in that age group in my home, so i went with the haven home, who had six people going already. Since they didn't circulate that day, we went the night before and spent the night at Aaron an Dulce's home. the next morning the CTC home had come too, and one other home. the other home was the only one with a car that could circulate on that day, so we all went in that one. There was just one problem: have you ever tried fitting twenty-four people into a twelve-seater? I felt like a sardine!!! We played three games of paint ball. my team lost the first one, in spite of Niki and I taking out the opposing team leader. the second game i think we could have won. we had the position that the other team had had last game, and it was much easier to defend. But they stopped that game in the middle to do another activity. I didn't play the third game.
Then we went to the woods and had a barbecue. it was a long activity. we had lots of fun going for a hike. in the middle of the hike, for no apparent reason, Richard announced that we were going "zombie hunting" don't ask me where he came up with this. we didn't catch any, but i thought that it was funny because every stick or stone we passed, he used his imagination to make it into some sort of evidence that zombies had been there. when we finally got back to my home it was past midnight, but I had a lot of fun.

( Shelly) I haven't posted for a long time, so I'll update you on what I've been doing lately. I just finished my library research report ( don't think I told you I was doing a report, but now you know) on Clara Barton and it took me a full week to do because I had to do report cards and note cards and all that junk. Oh, by the way lots of people are telling me that I am getting better at art and stuff like that. hello! sorry that I havent posted 4 awhile. we are up in the states and shelly anid I have created this pink template to celebrate the inageration of our very early christmas present of a pink laptop. the 5 km race didnt work out, but tomorrow is a 10 km race, a very publiciced event, and I have butterflys in my stomach. i have a nice new light blue track suit to match my blue tennies. I will post pics tomorrow.

today was Simona's b-day, an we had planned a surprise party for her. when she came home, she started going into the house to get the keys, I grabbed her sister, Chelsy, and told her, "shes not supposed to go into the house yet" so she told Simona shed get the keys, and she did. but when she walked into the house, since I hadn't old anyone that Chelsy was going first, everyone yelled "Surprise!' I dont know who was more embarrassed, me or Chelsy.

The Fantasy of the Friendly Dragon
there is a friendly dragon
who lives across the gorge
its companion is an elfin child
whose leafy-green it bore

every night in their cloud -boat
they sail across the moon
the elfin-child awakens me and says,
"shh, we must leave soon"

for then in the leafy-green fields we play
