( Shelly) I haven't posted for a long time, so I'll update you on what I've been doing lately. I just finished my library research report ( don't think I told you I was doing a report, but now you know) on Clara Barton and it took me a full week to do because I had to do report cards and note cards and all that junk. Oh, by the way lots of people are telling me that I am getting better at art and stuff like that. Lots of people are telling me that my sketch of Clara Barton is quite good(I will show you it as soon as I find the camera) but anyway I will post some recent pictures (o.k. pictures of bubbles being cute)

Hi. This is Shelly here. We were going to go home yesterday, but we didn't leave because all of us got only a few hours of sleep and because I had a very bad stomach ache. hello! sorry that I havent posted 4 awhile. we are up in the states and shelly anid I have created this pink template to celebrate the inageration of our very early christmas present of a pink laptop. the 5 km race didnt work out, but tomorrow is a 10 km race, a very publiciced event, and I have butterflys in my stomach. i have a nice new light blue track suit to match my blue tennies. I will post pics tomorrow.

Today i did something kinda stupid. I am training for a marathon (surprise :-) and I went down to a new track today and it was more hot than where I live . I didn't eat any protein today.I didn't drink any water. I ran three times as far as usual .pretty stupid.

today was Simona's b-day, an we had planned a surprise party for her. when she came home, she started going into the house to get the keys, I grabbed her sister, Chelsy, and told her, "shes not supposed to go into the house yet" so she told Simona shed get the keys, and she did. but when she walked into the house, since I hadn't old anyone that Chelsy was going first, everyone yelled "Surprise!' I dont know who was more embarrassed, me or Chelsy.

I have a poem which I wrote the other day. Mom predicted that king Freddy would have something foolish to say about it.

The Fantasy of the Friendly Dragon
there is a friendly dragon
who lives across the gorge
its companion is an elfin child
whose leafy-green it bore

every night in their cloud -boat
they sail across the moon
the elfin-child awakens me and says,
"shh, we must leave soon"

for then in the leafy-green fields we play
until comes the dawn
and then I must blink my eyes
and then, of course, they're gone

but if you happen, in the day
to look out across the gorge
you may see the elfin-child
and the leafy-green it bore

and if you do so, in the night
as we play beneath the starry sky
you may hear the laughter
of the dragon, the elfin-child andI

Today we went to a breakfast buffet for my dads b-day and for dinner we had a special dinner. in the middle of dinner, as we talked about all the good food we ate, I blurted out;
"today is a good day for yummy food to eat"
think about it, its pretty funny

i will post something good tomorrow.

PS. did you ever notice that, however much you may dislike them, no camping trip is ever complete without marshmallows?
